In 2009, a couple of guys thought it would be fun to build a bar. Today, Tadcaster has 14 concepts across Australasia.

Tadcaster Hospitality developed its first concept The Bull and Bear back in 2009. It was designed as the kind of place we'd love to hang out (far too frequently) for a pint. The company quickly expanded the brand to Singapore's CBD with BQ Bar, Dharma's Kebabs, and Molly Malone's. Following The Exchange (2011), Cafe Melba was established at Goodman Arts Centre (2012).
After completing our initial Singapore portfolio, we launched Tadcaster Australia and revealed three new concepts: The Emerson (Australia's Nightclub of the Year in 2014, 2015, and 2017), The Bluestone (which was sold in 2019), and Jacksons & Co. (which we sold in 2016).
We also established our roots in the Philippines, having constructed and opened The Social - a cafe, bar, and music venue rolled into one in Cebu, in November 2014, and following up with The Park Social in 2017 to firmly establish Tadcaster Philippines. Building on this foundation, we expanded further with the opening of Social Park Avenue at Mango Square, Cebu, in January 2025, reinforcing our commitment to vibrant hospitality experiences in the region.
Don't worry, we always remember where we came from! Cafe Melba at Mediapolis opened in May 2016, bringing Cafe Melba's charm to the west of Singapore. In March 2022, we introduced our healthy salad bar concept, Lean & Green, alongside The Exchange, followed by a second Lean & Green location at BQ Bar a year later. Although Lean & Green and The Exchange closed their chapters in 2024, their spirit of innovation continues to shape our journey.
In 2025, we opened Riverside Buns within BQ Bar, blending retro charm with fresh energy to create an exciting new chapter for our community.
